Tomorrow, 19 November, ARM members will take active part in the activity “Day of the Tree”. Based on the coordination made with the Coordinating Body for the action, it has been decided that the ARM will be engaged on 14 locations throughout the Republic of Macedonia. Over 1800 ARM members from 7 army garrisons will plant offshoots at the following locations:
- in Skopje at the location Mrshevci;
- in Bitola – at the location Bel Kamen;
- In Ohrid – at the locations Maucker and Slavej mountain;
- in Tetovo – at the location Shishmanovac;
- in Kumanovo – at the location village Chelopek;
- in Prilep – at the location Derven - Nikodin;
- in Shtip – at the location Drenkata (Novo Selo);
- in Veles – at the location Toljan (Orizari);
- in Kriva Palanka – at the locations Garvanica and Milev Kamen;
- in Kichevo - at the locations Prostranje and Krushino;
- in Kochani - at the locations Zletovska Reka and Ozdimica;
- in Radovish - Smrdeshnik;
- in Sveti Nikole – at the locations Lepa Strana and Gjurishte, and
- in Vinica – at the location Vodici
By organized joining to the most massive ecological action in the Republic of Macedonia, the ARM, as in March this year, will give its contribution towards the building of environmental awareness for the restoration of the forests as one of our biggest treasures. In this activity, the members of the ARM are expected to plant over 200 thousand slips.
