Yesterday, June 30 2009, by the Ambassador of the Republic of France in the Republic of Macedonia, H.E. Mr. Bernard Valero, an official reception was organized on the occasion of the awarding of a medal, at the level of a golden medal, for national defence to Biljana Eftimova, the Head of the Department for International Cooperation in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia. Today, at the Holiday Inn Hotel, a presentation was held in the presence of the Minister of Defence, Zoran Konjanovski and the Minister of Transport and Communications, Mile Janakieski referring to the project “Old barracks for a new development – the Government and the citizens”.

At the presentation, the domestic and foreign investors were introduced with the space capacities and surrounding areas of the barracks which are to be transferred to the ownership of the municipalities to assist them in their economic development.
