Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear officers, dear friends,

To speak on such an occasion as a Minister of Defence is not only an honor, but an obligation too. Obligation in front all of the country, but in front of you too, the army, as the most significant foundation of the Macedonian security, but also as one of the crucial factors in building the modern, sovereign and prosperous Macedonia.

Dear members of the ISAF mission,

No matter that it looks as the usual cliché of speeches, I would like sincerely on my personal behalf to thank you for your participation in this fourth rotation at company range from the ARM structure and second in the structure of the 1st mechanized infantry brigade.
The Republic of Macedonia since its decision for joining NATO unabashedly has accepted the role to give its contribution in international realm to in building the democracy and the human values at each place of the earth.
Doing it at one of the most sensible places on the world political map, we rightly determine Macedonia as the political constant in building the global democratic network, for which you as an army are direct contributor.

Therefore, I express my deepest respect to your proven, not just declared patriotism and because you put your highest graded and ranged military potential in service of the world security processes, to the humanity and to the proven care for our country.

The strategic country determination for participation in the missions besides the component for contribution to the international processes brings the component for strengthening the defence capacities of the Republic of Macedonia. The most expensive ambassadors of the world peace as elite trained members of the Macedonian army are a guarantee not just with their own contribution in international security realm but also with the strengthening of the inside defence capacity.

The ISAF mission was and still is one of the most significant projects of the world political processes in building peace and democracy. Building democracy and creation of the basis of the Afghanistan state are a challenge created by a broader potential of large number of free minded democrats throughout the world.

Actually, the last Summit of the Alliance in Bucharest as one of the major directions and conclusions had this area as one of the most significant issues in building NATO global strategy for the creation of internal cohesion of the Alliance. No matter that Macedonia gives its contribution in percentage and more than some other members of NATO we still remain committed to this and to the other missions of our country on international scale.
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Allow me from this place to once again repeat the crucial and unabashed determination of Macedonia to become part of the strongest military-political alliance today. With dignity and self-respect and respect for the others we will complete our investment towards building the internal, regional and global security. Macedonia is firmly determined and it will become a member of the NATO family.

At the end once again, as a Minister of Defence at my first address I would express my determination and commitment to work in the creation of an army as part of the world security streams. Army equally capable to deal with all of the challenges that the modern world requests but with the internals security too.

Only in that way we will make the army more accessible to the citizens, to the institutions and to the international factor. Only in that way the Republic of Macedonia itself will become a member of the European and worldly processes, from EU and NATO where it really belongs.

Once again, on my personal behalf, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia, and on behalf of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Macedonia, I wish you welcome and successful work.
