Modern Macedonian Defence

"Modern Macedonian Defence" is a theoretical journal with an editorial ownership, issued twice a year in B-5 format.
It publishes: Original professional works, scientific works, book reviews, short announcements, etc. and Bibliographies, lists of activities of scientific manifestations that are held in the country or abroad, important dates, advertisements of companies that are published either continually or occasionally.
The dominant columns in the Journal are on: General theoretical issues, issues on doctrine and strategy and other issues from the field of defence; Geopolitical, geostrategic, military political and issues of international engagement in the field of defence; Technical and technological achievements, armament and equipment; Other columns from the field of security, defence and protection; and Book reviews, professional works from the field of defence.
The authors of the columns are famous local and foreign scientists and researchers whose professional orientation is closely connected with the dominant columns from the journal.
The editor-in-chief is professor Trajan Gocevskai, PhD from the Faculty of Philosophy, within the University "St.Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje. The deputy editor-in-chief is Col. Sokle Kocovski, PhD who is an associate professor at the Military Academy "General Mihailo Apostolski" in Skopje.
The first issue of the journal was published on 01 June 2000.
