Tomorrow, (05 February 2010) in the “Chede Filipovski – Dame” barracks in Kichevo beginning at 11:00 hours, the Command of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade (MIBr) will organize an official leaving party for the participant of the forthcoming Winter Olympic Games which will be held in Vancouver, Canada. Apart from professional soldier Darko Damjanovski, who will compete in Cross-Country Skiing in the Winter Olympic Games in Canada, the ceremony will also be attended by his colleague professional soldier Gjorgji Icoski from the 2nd MIBR, who achieved the Olympic norm but will not participate in the forthcoming Winter Olympiad. In honour of the Olympians, the units that are residing in the Kichevo garrison will tomorrow officially muster, and apart from the Commander of the 2nd MIBr, Colonel Metodija Velichkovski, the ceremony will also be attended by coach of the Macedonian National Cross-Country Skiing Team, Gjoko Dineski. The ceremony will be carried out in front of the military flags of all units in the composition of the 2nd MIBr where the Olympians will be wished safe trip for Vancouver and the achievement of successful results from the members of the ARM.

After the ceremony, the ARM Olympians will be received by the mayor of Kichevo, Mr. Blagoja Despotoski.
