Tomorrow, 9 February at 11.00 hrs, a briefing on the combat readiness of the ARM for 2009 will be held in the meeting room of the MOD and GS. The briefing on the combat readiness is a regular obligation of the GS of the ARM to brief the President of the Republic of Macedonia and Supreme Commander of the ARM on the combat readiness of the Army in the past year. The President of the Republic of Macedonia and Supreme Commander of the ARM, Mr. Gjorge Ivanov, will be briefed tomorrow on the implementation of the plans and tasks for 2009 in line with the functional areas of the ARM related to personnel management, force protection, operations, training and exercises, logistic support, signals and communications and budgeting. In addition to the President of the Republic of Macedonia, the briefing will be attended by the Defence Minister, Mr. Zoran Konjanovski, the Chief of General Staff of the ARM, Lt. Gen. Miroslav Stojanovski, the Commander of the Joint Operational Command of the ARM, Maj Gen Zoran Dimov and part of the key personnel of the GS of ARM.
